MINOVA is a London-based Regenerative and Biophilic Design small business firm, founded by designer-entrepreneur Dr. Miné Ovacık in 2019. It aims to co-create products and services, such as Creative Career Coaching and Design Consultancy, that benefit the well-being of local communities. The company strives to design research projects with a positive social and environmental impact. Its business model is based on the concept of the human economy.

MINOVA presents and commercialises handcrafted natural felt products. The design motivation stems from an ecological and social responsibility that drives the design and shaping of wool into objects for users. MINOVA products are presented as collections of Felt Bags and Accessories. Currently, you can purchase MINOVA products either through bespoke orders by contacting Miné via email or select items from the Etsy shop called MINOVA Feel The Felt  

Products launched on the market by MINOVA are handmade. In addition, digital production technologies such as laser cutting, 3D printers, intelligent cutting machines, and sewing machines support Miné's handicraft production on a workshop scale at home.  

As MINOVA is a design-based, small-scale business operating within the human economy, its production approach focuses on individuality and being, while also preserving its locality, ecology, and beyond sustainability.

From a Regenerative and Biophilic Design standpoint, MINOVA delivers Design Consultancy for design education, both at GCSE and higher education levels, as well as product design projects. 

The brand MINOVA is a made-up name, created from the founder’s names. The MINOVA logo was designed by Emre Senan in 2019.

LABELLING In MINOVA's shop, not only Miné's but also selected designs from other artisans might be launched on the market, with the branding effort of MINOVA Craft Collective. Each product bears the label 'MINOVA' handcrafted by ..., which indicates the designer's and maker’s names.
